Effective June 18, 2026
When you use ScholarSpring, the information you provide is stored only on your device (in the app's local storage) and is never transmitted to us or anyone else. This includes:
You can erase all of it at any time using Reset everything on the Profile screen, or by deleting the app.
None about you. ScholarSpring does not require an account and collects no names, emails, or contact information on our servers.
The app downloads its scholarship listings from our database (hosted on Supabase) using an anonymous, read-only connection. These requests fetch public scholarship information only — no personal data from your profile is ever sent with them. A copy of the listings is cached on your device so the app works offline.
To display a logo next to each scholarship, the app may request a small favicon image from Google's public favicon service based on the sponsor's website domain. These requests contain only the sponsor's domain name — never any information about you. If a logo can't be loaded, the app shows a colored initial instead.
If you opt in to deadline reminders, those notifications are scheduled and delivered locally on your device. We do not operate a push-notification server and receive nothing when a reminder fires.
ScholarSpring contains no third-party analytics, no advertising SDKs, and no cross-app tracking. We do not build profiles of you or sell data — there is no data to sell.
ScholarSpring is designed for students of all ages, including high schoolers, and is rated for general audiences. Because the app collects no personal information on our servers, it does not knowingly collect data from children or anyone else.
If you choose to email or share your matches or pipeline, that content is sent through your own email or share sheet to the recipients you pick. ScholarSpring is not involved in or copied on that.
If this policy changes, we'll update this page and the effective date above.
